Vice Chancellor’s Message

I welcome you to The Begum Nusrat Bhutto Women University Sukkur, the first-ever public women university in Sindh, the most iconic and distinguished educational institution for the girls. This is a university with a vision: “Emblem of Socio-Economic Empowerment of Women” and striving hard to impart quality education to the girls to meet current and future demands of the job market and the needs of development.

In order to facilitate the teaching and learning process, smart classrooms, computer laboratories, DPT laboratories, library, hostel, healthcare, day care center and transportation facilities are available at the university. Student societies such as Let’s Play, Go green, Environmental Protection and Autaaque have been established to instill spirit among students to participate in extra-curricular activities. This is likely to make University life healthier and more memorable.

Our two distinguished features, the Lab School and the Language Lab allow our students to have hands-on learning and technology-integrated language learning experience.  We have developed linkages between national and international institutions / organizations for the enhancement of quality education, research and Development.

We are also among the pioneer universities in Sindh to implement the Undergraduate Education Policy 2020 (UGE) to raise the quality of undergraduate education to international standards, so that graduates can succeed in their lives.

With the combined efforts of the learned faculty, committed administration, and essential support from all government bodies, our University will become one of the prominent institutions in Pakistan and have a long-lasting impact on the growth of Pakistani women and society.
