Students’ Club & Society : Go Green

Introduction

The Go Green Society is a part of students’ council dedicated to fostering environmental awareness, promoting sustainability, and encouraging eco-friendly practices both on campus and within the broader community. Its mission is to motivate students to actively contribute to environmental conservation through educational programs, volunteer activities, and innovative green initiatives. Membership in the Go Green Society is automatic for all enrolled university students, making every student a part of this collective effort toward a greener and more sustainable future.

The society supports the vision of the Prime Minister's Youth Program, "Green and Clean Pakistan," by establishing its first-ever Urban Forest through the plantation of 283 trees and plants. Its intention is to assume responsibility for creating an environmentally friendly and green setting in a local area. The organization also aspires to cultivate the accountable youth of Pakistan.

The society organizes activities such as tree plantation drives, campus clean-up campaigns, recycling programs, environmental seminars, and awareness workshops. By encouraging teamwork, leadership, and social responsibility, we aim to create a culture of sustainability and empower students to become responsible environmental stewards.

Together, we believe that small actions can make a big difference in building a Cleaner, Greener & More Sustainable Future
