Students' Clubs & Societies (Students' Council)
Co-curricular activities hold a crucial position in every university as they take place outside the classroom while complementing the academic curriculum. These activities can enhance not only students' academic development and performance but can also help a student cultivate various vital life skills such as leadership, organization, confidence, and social interaction.
To arrange these activities, the student council is necessary, which might encompass various clubs and societies. Keeping this idea in mind, four different students’ clubs and societies known as Autaque, Let’s Play, Go Green, and Environmental Protection have been formed at BNB Women University Sukkur. They encourage students’ involvement in a range of physical, intellectual, athletic, recreational, and environmental protection activities that inspire students to compete in national/international events and serve as ambassadors for the university. They also offer opportunities for students to participate in activities of their choice across various skill levels, creating virtual real-life environments that directly aid in the development of student leadership. This action enhances the image and reputation of BNBWU Sukkur as an institution that supports a variety of extracurricular activities.
Patron-in-chief (Vice Chancellor) serves as the Head, with the Patron (Director Student Affairs) being next in authority in all clubs and societies. The primary aim is to cultivate leadership skills within the students. Additionally, other aspects include enhancing inter-personal skills, individual and team collaboration, stress management, and administration, too.
Following three key positions in every club and society will be elected through general election among the university students for one year :
- President
- General Secretary
- Media Secretary
