In line with the commitment of Prof. Dr. Tehmina Nangraj, Vice Chancellor, The Begum Nusrat Bhutto Women University (BNBWU), Sukkur, to promote community health and practical learning, the Department of Human & Rehabilitation Sciences successfully organized a Free Physiotherapy Camp on 27th April 2026.
The camp offered assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation services to the university community and the general public, addressing a range of conditions including back pain, neck pain, joint disorders, postural issues, and post-stroke rehabilitation. The services were provided under the supervision of qualified professionals, with active participation of Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) students, ensuring quality patient care alongside hands-on clinical training.
The activity was conducted under the supervision of Dr. Ram Chand, Dean Faculty of Education, Linguistics and Sciences (FELS), Dr. Saifullah Bullo, Chairperson Department of Human & Rehabilitation Sciences, and Mir Arif Hussain Talpur, Program Incharge DPT. The camp received an encouraging response from participants and served as a meaningful step towards strengthening community engagement and enhancing studentsโ clinical competencies.
This initiative reflects BNBWUโs continued commitment to healthcare outreach, academic excellence, and the promotion of health and wellbeing in society.
He was accompanied by Prof. Dr. Saleem Raza Samo, Vice Chancellor Quaid-e-Awam University of Engineering, Science & Technology, (QUEST), and both dignitaries acknowledged BNBWUโs contributions towards promoting quality education and womenโs empowerment.
The visit reflects strong national recognition of BNBWUโs achievements and reinforces its continued journey towards academic excellence, innovation, and institutional growth.
