BNBWU Student Emerges as National Winner of State Bank of Pakistan Business Idea Competition 2025

In continuation of the efforts of Prof. Dr. Tehmina Mangan, Vice Chancellor, Begum Nusrat Bhutto Women University (BNBWU), Sukkur, to promote innovation, entrepreneurship, and experiential learning, Ms. Neha Sohu, a 4th Semester BBA student of the Department of Management Sciences and Technology, brought national recognition to the University by emerging as the National Winner of the State Bank of Pakistan Business Idea Competition 2025.

Working under the supervision of Dr. Noor Ahmed Brohi, Associate Professor and Chairperson, Department of Management Sciences and Technology, Ms. Neha presented her innovative business idea, “Healing Boat,” a social innovation initiative designed to support youth emotional well-being through a safe, anonymous, and multilingual digital platform. The idea was recognized by the State Bank of Pakistan for its originality, social relevance, and potential to positively impact youth and community development.

This prestigious national achievement reflects BNBWU’s commitment to fostering innovation, entrepreneurial leadership, and socially impactful research, while empowering students to develop sustainable solutions that address contemporary societal challenges and contribute to national development.
