ORIC STEERING COMMITTEE

The ORIC Steering Committee, chaired by the Vice Chancellor, provides strategic direction and oversight for all research, innovation, and commercialization activities. The committee comprises senior faculty, industry representatives, and development experts who guide research priorities and ensure alignment with institutional goals and the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Its key functions include setting the strategic vision for university research and innovation; reviewing progress on funded projects and proposal pipelines; strengthening industry academia partnerships and knowledge exchange; and supporting faculty in grant acquisition, proposal review, and ethical compliance.
