In continuation of the efforts of Prof. Dr. Tehmina Nangraj, Vice Chancellor, The Begum Nusrat Bhutto Women University (BNBWU), Sukkur, to strengthen practical learning and campus safety, a ππ‘ππ¦π’πππ₯ ππππππ² & π π’π«π ππ’π¬π€ ππ°ππ«ππ§ππ¬π¬ ππ¨π«π€π¬π‘π¨π© was organized at BNBWU on 2 November 2026 in collaboration with the American Chemical Society (ACS) Pakistan, ACS Quaid-e-Awam University Student Chapter, ACS International Student Chapter BNBWU, HSEQ Professionals, and HSM.
The workshop combined expert guidance with hands-on fire extinguishing practicals, enabling students to develop essential awareness of chemical hazards, fire prevention, emergency response, and workplace safety. On the occasion, Prof. Dr. Tehmina Nangraj emphasized the importance of building a strong safety culture across academic and professional environments.
The ACS delegation included Dr. Khasif Mangi, Asadullah Golo, Afaque Ahmed, Dr. Saeed Awan, Wirasat Paracha, Jhanger Abbasi, Jawad Ahmed, Zeeshan Bhutto, and Shakir. The ACS International Student Chapter BNBWU was supported by Professional Advisors Prof. Dr. Ram Chand and Prof. Dr. Saifullah Bullo, and Faculty Advisors Dr. Tania Ghumro and Dr. Sajjad Hussain.
