𝐁𝐍𝐁𝐖𝐔 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐦-𝐞-𝐈𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐡𝐬𝐚𝐥 – 𝐊𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐦𝐢𝐫 𝐒𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐃𝐚𝐲

In continuation of its commitment to promoting national awareness, patriotism, and responsible citizenship, The Begum Nusrat Bhutto Women University Sukkur, observed Youm-e-Istehsal – Kashmir Solidarity Day through a series of informative and engaging activities aimed at educating students about the historical, humanitarian, and legal dimensions of the Jammu and Kashmir issue.

The event featured panel discussions by faculty members and students, where participants shared informed perspectives on the significance of Youm-e-Istehsal, the resilience of the Kashmiri people, and the importance of peace, justice, and the right to self-determination. The discussions also highlighted the role of academia in fostering awareness, critical thinking, and national consciousness among the youth.

Prof. Dr. Tehmina Nangraj, Vice Chancellor, The Begum Nusrat Bhutto Women University, Sukkur, reaffirmed the University’s unwavering solidarity with the people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK). She emphasized that universities play a pivotal role in nurturing informed, responsible, and patriotic citizens who uphold the values of justice, peace, and human dignity. She further encouraged students to remain intellectually engaged with national and international issues and to contribute positively towards a peaceful, progressive, and united Pakistan through knowledge, dialogue, and responsible civic engagement.

The event concluded with a renewed pledge to stand in solidarity with the people of Jammu and Kashmir and to continue promoting awareness, national unity, and humanitarian values through education and meaningful dialogue.
