Under the visionary leadership of Prof. Dr. Tehmina Nangraj, Vice Chancellor, The Begum Nusrat Bhutto Women University (BNBWU), Sukkur, the University has proudly joined hands with its partners to launch a Tree Plantation Drive aimed at promoting environmental sustainability and addressing the challenges of climate change.
At a time when Interior Sindh is experiencing extreme temperatures and severe heatwaves, such initiatives are not only important but essential. Rising temperatures and environmental degradation are increasingly impacting public health, agriculture, and daily life, making tree plantation a vital step towards building a greener, healthier, and more sustainable future.
This initiative reflects the collective commitment of academia and collaborating partners towards environmental responsibility and community wellbeing. Through such efforts, BNBWU continues to contribute to reducing pollution, improving air quality, and fostering environmental awareness, aligning with its mission of sustainable development and societal impact.
