BNBWU Signs MoU with Sindh Blood Transfusion Authority to Promote Healthcare Innovation

In continuation of the efforts of Prof. Dr. Tehmina Mangan, Vice Chancellor, Begum Nusrat Bhutto Women University (BNBWU), Sukkur, to promote research, innovation, and community engagement, BNBWU signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Sindh Blood Transfusion Authority (SBTA) for the development of a Blood Donor and Patient Support System.

The collaboration aims to leverage technology and data-driven solutions to facilitate blood donor management, improve patient support services, and enhance access to safe and timely blood transfusion facilities across Sindh.

The MoU was signed by Dr. Aftab Mallah, Director SBTA, and Prof. Dr. Shahzad Nasim, Dean, Faculty of Management, Information Science & Technology (FMIST), BNBWU. The ceremony was attended by Dr. Muhammad Ahsan Baig, Dr. Asad, and other officials from both institutions.

This partnership reflects the shared commitment of BNBWU and SBTA to advancing public health through innovation, research, and strategic collaboration for the benefit of society.
