
BNBWU Launches Tree Plantation Drive for Environmental Sustainability

In continuation of efforts to promote character building, patriotism, and responsible citizenship under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Tehmina Nangraj, Vice Chancellor, Begum Nusrat Bhutto Women University (BNBWU), Sukkur, the University organized a spirited ceremony to commemorate 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐚-𝐞-𝐇𝐚𝐪, reflecting its commitment to nurturing value-driven individuals.
The event commenced with an insightful address by Ms. Sadia Awan, who highlighted the significance of 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐚-𝐞-𝐇𝐚𝐪 as a symbol of courage, unity, and national integrity, inspiring students to uphold the values of truth and dedication. Adding a literary dimension, Ms. Hadia Arain presented a moving poetic performance, beautifully portraying themes of sacrifice, valor, and love for the homeland. A documentary was also screened, paying tribute to the bravery and sacrifices of the armed forces, instilling a sense of pride and gratitude among participants.
In her remarks, Prof. Dr. Tehmina Nangraj emphasized that Marka-e-Haq is not just a historical symbol but a guiding principle for everyday life, stating that “we are engaged in our own Marka-e-Haq when we fulfill our responsibilities with honesty, integrity, and commitment.” She further highlighted that through ethical conduct and collective responsibility, society can overcome challenges such as poverty and corruption.
The event concluded with a renewed message that true patriotism lies in action through education, integrity, and a shared commitment to national development.
