The Begum Nusrat Bhutto Women University (BNBWU), Sukkur participated in the four-day Regional Islam & International Humanitarian Law (IHL) Course. In continuation of the efforts of Prof. Dr. Tehmina Mangan, Vice Chancellor BNBWU, to strengthen faculty capacity and provide meaningful academic exposure, BNBWU faculty members gained valuable insights through expert-led discussions, case studies and exchange of perspectives on the shared humanitarian principles of International Humanitarian Law and the Islamic Law of Siyar. Bringing together around 30 professors of Islamic Studies from across Pakistan, including Azad Jammu & Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan, the course provided a significant platform to explore the common values of humanity, dignity and protection at the heart of both traditions.
