
BNBWU Hosts Thalassemia Awareness & Free Carrier Screening Programme

In continuation of the efforts of Prof. Dr. Tehmina Nangraj, Vice Chancellor, BNBWU, to strengthen institutional partnerships for student health and community well-being, The Begum Nusrat Bhutto Women University Sukkur signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Muhammadi Blood Bank & Thalassemia Centre. The MoU was signed by Associate Prof. Dr. Noor Ahmed Brohi, Focal Person ORIC, BNBWU, while Dr. Dur-e-Naz Jamal, along with Ms. Samar, signed from Muhammadi Blood Bank & Thalassemia Care Centre. The collaboration will focus on thalassemia awareness, carrier screening, preventive health education, blood-related support initiatives and community outreach, creating a structured platform for joint health and awareness activities.
